YMCA at Pabst Farms
The Y Child Care Center provides care for infants through 4K Monday -Friday from 6AM - 6PM. Volunteer opportunities in the Center may include: assisting in the classrooms, helping on field trip days, donating needed items, sharing a talent, etc. Volunteer opportunities may change throughout the year, so please check back to the Child Care Center project regularly.

Volunteers needed to assist individuals with disabilities that have varying abilities in this exercise program that is designed to help them get comfortable on the machines and work safely and independently in the Wellness Center.

Do you love sports? Want to help kids learn to love it too? We have many volunteer opportunities for our fall sports leagues. Coaches are needed to teach the fundamentals of various sports (flag football, volleyball, soccer and basketball), good sportsmanship and to lead their teams in practice and in games. Flag Football & Volleyball - season runs from end of August through end of October. Team practices are held for one hour on a weeknight and games are on Saturdays. Soccer- season runs from beginning of September through beginning of October. Teams practice and play one weeknight a week. U6 and U8 divisions. League takes place on Tuesday and Thursday. Basketball- season runs from middle of October through middle of December. Team practices are held for one hour on a weeknight and games are on Saturdays.

YMCA at Pabst Farms
The Y will once again be offering take and bake Thanksgiving meals to families in the Oconomowoc and Watertown communities. We are partnering with local schools to gather donations and meals will be distributed at both Glacial Community YMCA branches. We are seeking volunteers to assist with gathering donated food items and sorting them by category. Volunteers will also help pack the complete meals for distribution. Shifts will be held at the YMCA at Pabst Farms with flexible scheduling. If you're interested, please contact Katelyn (klutz@glcymca.org) with your availability between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

As part of the Youth Service Summit on November 8, 2024, we will engage high school students (ages 14-18) in a morning of community service at Feeding America in Milwaukee, followed by an afternoon of leadership education with talented speakers and summit social at the Y! Transportation will be provided from the YMCA at Pabst Farms to Feeding America and back to the YMCA.
